HAVN Construction Update, October 2026: Tiling, Glazing and Sauna Fit-out
HAVN is in its building finishing stage. On 6 October 2026 the site team reported ceramic tiling being completed that week, glass for the gym and lobby scheduled for installation the following week, and timber work starting in the infrared sauna. Nineteen photographs were taken on site the same day and are published in the HAVN Gallery.
What stage is HAVN at in October 2026?
The structure and facade are complete, and wiring and interior finishing were completed in August. Since September the work has been building finishing: the surfaces, glazing, and fit-out that turn a completed structure into a usable building.
Walls along the corridors are rendered and painted. Many floors in the October photographs are still at screed level, which is where the ceramic tiling is being completed.
What work is happening on site this month?
The site team's report of 6 October 2026 lists three items. Each relates to a shared space or finish that residents will use every day.
- Ceramic tiling, scheduled to be completed in the week of 6 October.
- Glass for the gym and the lobby, scheduled for installation the following week.
- Timber work in the infrared sauna, starting in the week of 6 October.
What do the October photographs show?
The upper walkways run around the open centre of the building behind black steel balustrades, with residence doors along one side. On the ground floor the pool shell is formed and waiting for its finish. The concrete stair between the two levels is in place.
Inside, bathrooms show framed doorways and rough-in plumbing ahead of fit-out. The electrical metering and distribution boards are mounted. From the street, the two-storey facade is painted and the site entrance is still a working construction area.
